Firm and close-meshed, the 2021 Ortswein presents itself on the nose with yellow plum, some angelica root, tangerine, discreet but fine. On the palate, the Ockfener is very calm, lively, gripping acidity, lime and lemon balm, good length.
More about the tastingRipe apple, Nashi pear and citrus fruit on the nose, subtle and promising. Prominent acidity and medium extract on the palate. The wine is ideal as an accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes, but it will also stand up to a Wiener Schnitzel.
