The red wine Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening at the rim. Ripe plum, black cherry, a hint of fig, some dark nougat, mineral. Complex, immensely rich, velvety texture, fine, ripe, well-integrated tannins, shows very great length, chocolatey finish, fresh cherry on the aftertaste, enormous ageing potential.
