The red wine Zweigelt Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby colour with deep core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Chocolate touch, ripe plums, blackberry confit and caramel with some vanilla in the background, pleasant herbal savouriness. Juicy, complex and sweet, nuances of ripe figs, well-integrated ripe tannins, mineral, ripe heart cherries on the finish, shows great length, good ageing potential.
