The red wine Portugieser Réserve, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauer Portugieser from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Sweet notes of mature balsamic vinegar fill the nose, along with a distinctive note of black cherry bringing the fruity element, and finally aromas of black walnuts which complete the bouquet. Very tasty and intense on the palate, with perfectly integrated acidity creating tension.
