Tasting Notes
It has some oak aromas, as well as caramelized notes, some kumquat, and pomelo. On the palate it is broad, almost bold, and the balance is maintained by powerfully compacted substance along with its spiciness. It is a striking and powerful wine that needs food.
More about the tastingVery closed on the nose. Some new wood. Grapefruit, lime zest. A mouthful of wine: broad body, cultivated acidity, mild substance, mineral background. And all these components are tightly and homogeneously woven into one another. Good length, but still needs time to develop its spiciness.
More about the tastingFlint or Sponti wort, you can take your pick. The latter will weaken and bring its minerality further to the fore. Uncompromisingly dry taste that lingers long and intensely into the stony finish.
