Tasting Notes
Deep ruby garnet in colour with subtle edge brightening. Tobacco savouriness, black berry fruit, plums and some peat on the nose, along with touches of wood and suede. It's juicy on the palate with a core of red cherries and fresh structure. A hint of sloes, ripe tannins and salty-limestone minerality lends middling complexity. A little dry on the palate, with a hint of lemon on the finish, this shows good length and freshness.
