The rosé wine »Fundament« Cuvée Rosé, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sauter, Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Benjamin Vombach, Dominik Herzog with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Portugieser, Portugieser, Lemberger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Spätburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Subtle ruby red in colour. Smells of cherries, cherry blossom, wild strawberries and raspberries, also some pomegranate and a little vanilla. Well-built on the palate with juicy acidity, subtle substance, also creamy, the well-groomed tannins lend grip, notes of wild berries, raspberry and cherry again.
