Tasting Notes
Dark garnet colour, purple reflections. Black berry, some tar, smoky savouriness, nuances of cassis, delicately earthy, hints of candied orange zest. Medium complexity, red berryish nuances, fresh structure, grown-up tannins, somewhat spicy on the finish, red berry-lemon aftertaste, develops quite well when decanted, a multi-faceted wine for the table. Not quite a big hit compared to the great vintage. (PM, drinking, ageing +15, tasted Sept. 2025).
