Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections, watery rim. Woody nuances, cassis and blackberry confit, subtle hints of candied orange and vanilla, needs plenty of air to open up. Deep, complex, ripe plums, vivid tannins that do not yet appear fully integrated, mineral, some nougat on the finish, still needs time, will develop into a full-bodied food wine. (PM, ageing, +25, tasted Sept. 2025).

More about the tastingSpicy and floral on the nose, very typical for the Château, some wet gravel, malt as well as red and black currant. On the palate there is fine-grained, shapely tannin, mineral acidity, much juiciness and an extreme elegance, mineral pithy finish. In the background, however, despite the elegance also quite plump. Very good length. .
