Deep dark ruby in colour with an inky, opaque core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a multi-faceted bouquet of delicate vanilla and nougat, ripe dark berry fruit, black cherry, and a touch of fine cassis. The palate is firm, powerful and tight-knit, rich in tannins, which are pronounced but silky, with notes of dark nougat and subtle berry fruit on the length, fresh finish. This wine has enormous potential for the future, but it needs some time.
