The sparkling wine »Exquisit Grande Cuvée« Zero Dosage, vintage 2018 from the winery Griesel & Compagnie has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points.
A fine yeast savouriness and burgundy berry notes create a rich aroma. The wine also demonstrates richness on the palate, with an extra smoothness (presumably due to the vintage), a slightly drying transition onto the finish, but also with a very cultivated mousse and a ripe, perfectly integrated acidity.
