The Sweet and Dessert Wine Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Rocca di Montegrossi has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malvasia from the region Toscana in Italy.
Intense dark amber. The nose has hints of milk chocolate, prune, dried figs, plus a slight hint of lavender, walnuts, honey and spice. Opens with an oily texture on the palate, walnuts, precise and bright, a lot of sweetness, as if from a block, finishing with dried figs and walnuts, endless.
