The red wine Geremia IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Rocca di Montegrossi has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep ruby with a slight purple tinge. Very intense, fleshy nose, lots of dark currant, some elderberry overlaid with fine cocoa notes and tobacco. Substantial and dense, showing rich, ripe berry fruit. Opens with lots of dense tannin, integrated with the rich texture, some salty notes in the long finish.
