Dark, almost impenetrable ruby. Initially shy graphite on the nose, delicate fine oak, a hint of dark chocolate, light pepper savouriness, ripe cherry, blackberry and a pinch of leather on the finish. Opens dense and tense on the palate, with vivid savouriness in the core, rich fruit, generous use of oak supports the ensemble, finishes very long with tightly woven tannin and currently minimal dehydration, still young, will mature excellently.
