Tasting Notes
Bright, shiny cherry red with copper reflections. A multi-layered bouquet of ripe berries, elderberry, plum and candied orange, with a hint of fir honey and smoked bacon in the background. Taut and full-bodied on the palate with some phenolic grip, a straightforward acidity and savoury mousse leading into the full, delicately tart finish. Great ageing potential, and will go well with powerful dishes.
