The white wine »Auftakt« Souvignier Gris, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Abthof – Martin Koch has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Souvignier gris from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Pear, yeast, a hint of chestnut honey. On the palate it shows with a fresh, carbonated attack, a sweet and sour palate and quite a pronounced body. A powerful and expressive food companion, for example with grilled or vegetable gratin.
