The white wine »Auftakt« Souvignier Gris, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Abthof – Martin Koch has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Souvignier gris from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Multi-layered aroma: blueberry, nutty notes, peanut hints. On the palate, it is a powerful wine with a firm acid backbone and noticeable salinity, supple and full-bodied motifs are in perfect balance, the aromas reverberate with fruity and beginning savoury flavours. Should age very well!
