Tasting Notes
Typical of the variety and clear in the nose: pear, honeydew melon, sweet chestnut, On the palate it shows with a nice concentration, straightforward, not too chunky, not too narrow, with well-integrated acidity and food-friendly dryness, an all-round harmonious, solidly prepared Pinot Gris with everyday and Sunday suitability.
More about the tastingAlmost somewhat Chardonnay-like in aroma, subtle wood, cereal-scented notes, some yeast, even the eponymous limestone marl is not too far away in terms of taste. Soft and supple at the start, then full-bodied and sweet, firm mineral backbone, has a lot of substance and will attain a restrained opulence in the bottle ageing stage.
