The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery Bertani has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear, rich ruby. Attractive, finely marked nose with notes of ripe, dark cherry, cranberry and clove. Substantial and rich in attack and course, showing beautiful ripe fruit, then plenty of savoury tannin that is well embedded in fruit texture, pithy and long.
