Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet, delicately underglazed, watery rim. Fine aromas of coffee and caramel (cappuccino) on the nose, fine red berry jam, attractive bouquet. Juicy, elegant, fresh acid structure, full of finesse and extract sweetness, delicate caramel-creamy note in the aftertaste, lingers well, pleasant tannin residue in the finish, still has some potential. (Drink +10)
More about the tastingUnfortunately also a cork, so the private cellar had to serve as a pleasurable completion, because without Figeac it is just as impossible. Rather pale color, but all the more variety in the bouquet, delicate rum-scented nougat notes, dried spices, delicately ethereal and very suggestive, elegant texture on the palate, fresh structure, sweet and long, fine roasted aromas in the finish, gains very nicely with air, a connoisseur wine of the finest blood, ideally still has future potential and stands a little bit, but still above the Cheval Blanc.
