Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet, violet core, ruby red reflections, broad ochre rim. Initially very restrained on the nose, subtle raspberry and cherry fruit, delicate scent of violets, notes of sweet spices, a hint of roasted aromas. Juicy on the palate, again floral notes of violets and lilacs, firm, quite compact tannins, fresh acid structure, extract-sweet body, fine lemony hints, delicate core, still lacking the decisive length. (Probably not quite a perfect bottle.) (cellar/+25)
