The red wine Paleo Rosso Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby red. At first it is a little restrained on the nose, then reveals multi-layered raspberry, blackberry and dark tobacco. On the palate it is full-bodied with gripping, dense tannins. There are pronounced tobacco and earthy notes on the very long finish.
