The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Rocca di Montegrossi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby. Shows a little bit cloudy on the nose, needs in-depth aeration, then rich notes of blackberry and mulberry. On the palate very concentrated, dark berry fruit, profound, on the finish slightly animalistic notes, a little bit rough.
