Lemon yellow in colour. An opulent Chardonnay on the nose: candied lemon, champagne-like yeasty notes, a touch of oak, lime blossom. On the palate, the wine has a generous, yet still substantial structure, the mousse is rather discreet in its dynamism, almost creamy in texture, the acidity seems pithy, lingers long and gives the wine a compact, pithy finish. A sparkling wine for dinner!
