Slightly balsamic underlying spice, some wood patina, soft on the palate, emphatically juicy with fine-grained, restrained tannins, more soft parts than substance, firm tactile-mineral component with good length, but also tending a little towards breadth on the finish with an emphasis on alcohol, the wildness of the Sangiovese seems a little too tamed.
