Tasting Notes
An initially earthy nose has a touch of candied blackberry which opens into a pure, serene berry that has exquisite tartness yet dark fruitiness. The palate is exquisitely smooth, somehow emollient, the dense tannins sit somewhere between corduroy and velvet but come with a fine grip towards the finish. This is dense, juicy, vivid, but also elegant. But there is a lot of muscle sitting there, a quiet power.
