Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-garnet colour. Dark berries, blackberry, liquorice, olives, tobacco, but also marzipan, nougat, graphite, nuances of aniseed and cumin, very multi-layered. Complex, full-bodied, dark fruit, vivid sweet tannins, carried by a finesse-rich structure, powerful and elegant at the same time, tobacco nuances, shows enormous length, great certain ageing potential, a world-class wine, fine blackberry confit, shows an astonishing freshness despite the enormous summer heat of over 45 degrees Celsius during the day. Still a baby, needs several more years. (Store/drink +15).
