Gentle smokiness hovers on the shy palate. The palate is both mellow and fresh, like a juicy, yellow apple. There is a textural element that has a lovely grip but shines with bright, ripe freshness. That smoky, waxy note attains a floral overtone with air and the expression builds and builds, the tamed ripeness and the expression builds, the texture is exquisite, the flavour is rich, bold but beautifully fresh. Long, lasting, gripping.
