It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc / Garnatxa Blanca, Clairette Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay from the region Swartland in South Africa.
A hint of smokiness that suggests a just extinguished candle. More air brings out a tropical notion of pineapple along with Golden Delicious apple. The body is bold, rich, dense, edged with a healthy dose of phenolics. This has grip, this has muscle, and it does not taste like a wine that is 15 years old. This has miles ahead of it yet.
