Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-garnet in colour, with purple reflections and a lightly watery rim. Fine nuances of blueberries, nougat, some mint and dark berry fruit on the nose, with delicate orange zest, a hint of dried fruit and something more ethereal - very attractive. Full-bodied and very elegant on the palate with powerful and sweet blackberries to the fore. It's decidedly purist and silky thanks to supporting tannins and a finesse-rich structure. A harmonious flow leads to ripe cherry fruit and a minty touch on the finish, with a chocolaty aftertaste. Undoubtedly gastronomically versatile, with very good ageing potential. (Store/drink +25).
