Tasting Notes
Lightening, medium brick red in colour. Inviting sweet wild berry fruit on the nose with a fine herbal savouriness and a touch of kitchen vegetables such as parsley root. Underlaying it all is a core of sweet cherries. The palate is complex and tightly woven, with a fine dark minerality alongside plum fruit and chocolate. The finesse-rich acidity creates a very fresh profile, supported by vivid, well-ripened tannins. Overall it's sweet and persistent, very harmonious, and has now reached its first drinking peak. It still seems introverted on the finish, with lots of time ahead of it, but already the delicate impression reminds of J. L. Chave's Hermitage. (cellar/drink +25).
