Tasting Notes
Ripe dark berry fruit, hints of plums, fine herbal spice and some tobacco nuances on the nose, with a mineral character too. It's complex on the palate with chocolaty nuances, black berry jam and blackberries, backed by vivid, well-integrated tannins that create a powerful and very persistent profile. Some lighter strawberry notes emerge on the finish, which is carried by a fresh acid structure. Has not yet reached its peak, and needs a few more years to refine. (Store/drink +30).
