Tasting Notes
A most subtle nose. A hint that suggests both subtle caramel and dark peony. Air introduces a note of wet, red earth. On the palate there is an elevated smoothness, as though everything was bedded on a springy, yet somehow firm base. There is a lightness of touch and yet there is grip. The fruit is dark, veering between red and black cherry, getting more profound on the palate. All is there: body, depth, power, elegance, intensity – but nothing is obvious.
