The white wine »Geheimrat J« Rheingau Riesling trocken, vintage 2006 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Light golden colour. Some notes of Tomatenkraut, passion fruit, peach on the nose, the palate is distinctly supple initially, rounded with texture, but not radiant, with slightly dry phenolic notes and a somewhat drying finish. Nevertheless, not completely without harmony.
