The white wine »Geheimrat J« Rheingau Riesling trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Caramel and rosehip confit, some damp chalk. In the mouth, the structure proves to be balanced, rather medium-bodied and almost a little slender overall. But the minerality is good. Strong alcohol and a pithy acidity on the finish.
