The white wine »Geheimrat J« Rheingau Riesling trocken, vintage 2010 from the winery Weingüter Wegeler – Gutshaus Rheingau has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Light golden to pale golden yellow in colour. On the nose there are notes of some honey, mango, tangerine and also floral tones. Fine-grained on the palate, accompanied by fine nerves, softly grounded, great balance, still youthful and compact, easy to underestimate, has a lot of ageing potential.
