Tasting Notes
Still restrained on the nose, dried tomato. In the mouth, the wine is supple, with melted tannins, the acidity is surprisingly mild, the wine flows smoothly into the slightly mineral-tinged finish.
More about the tastingSomewhat surprising with a slight reductive note in the freshly opened bottle. Matchstick, smoke, with a hint of plummy fruit behind it. A fine vein of acidity runs through the wine. The tannins are noticeable, but have already melted away harmoniously. A comparison with the three subsequent vintages shows that the ageing potential is far from exhausted. Very good.
