The crémant Bouvet »Ogmius« Saumur Brut, vintage 2015 from the winery Bouvet Ladubay has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser, Gerhild Burkhard, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Irene Forni with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay from the region Loire Valley in France.
Pale golden yellow, with green reflections. Attractive notes of lemon cream, roasted Garrigue herbs, kiwi and hints of vanilla on the nose. Velvety mousse on the palate, complex structure supported by the lively acid backbone. Subtle salted almonds in the aftertaste. Youthful character with plenty of certain ageing potential.
