Tasting Notes
First vintage in which the proportion of Sangiovese was reduced from 60 to 50 percent. Beautifully matured spice, truffles, boiled soup bones, forest floor, dried porcini mushroom, dense and present in the mouth, with fine, still very slightly astringent tannins that build up a lot of pressure, subtle acidity, medium-bodied but with grace in all components, medium length. Perfect food companion - now or over the next five years.
