The red wine Scrio Syrah IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby colour, purple reflections. Penetrating nose with lots of fresh fruit, blueberry and elderberry, underpinned by notes of dark pepper. Juicy and clear in the attack on the palate, builds up in many layers, deep and firm, lots of juicy fruit on the finish.
