The red wine Scrio Syrah IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2010 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Presents itself with a distinctly spicy nose, fragrant macchia bushes, some white pepper, then lots of blueberries. Plump, intense fruit on the palate, flint, opens up with fine-grained, dense tannins, extremely juicy, very long finish, tobacco flavours.
