The red wine Scrio Syrah IGT, vintage 2012 from the winery Le Macchiole has been rated in 2015 with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby-purple. Shows flashes of a clean and precise nose, lots of ripe dark berries, elderberries and blackberries, subtle spice. Fills the mouth, appears very juicy, then opens with finely-meshed tannin, which spreads out in many layers, polished and long, like tobacco.
