The red wine Amarone Classico della Valpolicella, vintage 2005 from the winery Bertani has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
Bright, dark ruby, light garnet rim. Very clear nose, aromas of dark cherry and pepper, dried tomato. Round and supple, full-bodied tannins, but a little sandy on the finish, dries slightly.
