The red wine Vigneto Monte Lodoletta Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Dal Forno Romano has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Oseleta, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, dense ruby red. On the nose, notes of cinnamon stick, ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, forest berries confit, oak, dried violets, very complex. Extremely polished on the palate, with a lovely viscosity, great texture, multi-layered, concentrated yet not overdone, finishing on notes of fine coconut, will age superbly, with an infinitely long life.
