Deep dark ruby, with purple reflections, and discreet brightening on the rim. A somewhat restrained bouquet, subtle liquorice, sweet cherries, and pleasant touch of fine oak. Taut, ripe cherries, fine cassis, vivid, still somewhat demanding tannins, minerality, and a powerful finish, strong ageing potential.
