Tasting Notes
Deep ruby, brightening on the rim. Fine toasty nougat aromas, black berries, some vanilla and herbs. Complex palate, dense and sweet, black berryish confit, some liquorice, a long mineral finish. Still youthful but slowly starting to outrank the '90. Excellent bottle.
More about the tastingMedium ruby garnet color, broad rim brightening. Fine dark berry fruit, delicate herbal spice, a hint of vanilla and licorice, a hint of cedar, fine chocolate note. Juicy, very elegant, delicate orange fruit, well-integrated tannins, cherries in the aftertaste, lemony touch in the finish, appears light-footed, now offers great drinking pleasure.
