Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Ripe sweet cherries, ripe plums, a touch of liquorice, fresh orange zest. A juicy palate, chocolatey, round and harmonious, fresh acid structure, ripe cherries, fine and well-integrated tannins, Ready to drink but has good ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep dark, opaque ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. On the nose, the usual wide range of aromas, initially blueberries, blackcurrants, liquorice, floral nuances of violets, quince jelly, ethereal hints, incense, smoky, mineral wood spice, notes of ginger and aniseed, mocha, Valrhona chocolate, oriental spices. Powerful on the palate, present, still somewhat demanding tannins, appears very lively despite its volume, extract-sweet and long-lasting, again characterized by sweet spicy notes, multi-layered fruit on the finish, will still benefit from bottle ageing.
