Tasting Notes
A lovely sense of blueberry with the merest hint of smoke and a touch of vanilla informs the nose. The palate adds a cool, minty sheen of freshness, accentuating the ripeness of the blueberry fruit. The tannins are dense and the wine has a sleek compactness as well as a youthful elegance. Fragrant from start to finish, long and cool.
More about the tastingDark ruby, with a softening of colour on the rim. Delicate floral notes underpinned by black berry-fruit, pleasant herbal notes, a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, tightly meshed, discreet fruit, round and lush, a touch of chocolate, a great wine that lacks only a little more acidity to the happy ensemble. Already very well developed, with sweet black berry-fruit that lingers on the finish.
