Tasting Notes
Deep colour, dark reflections, broad water edge. Fine black fruit of liquorice, ripe plums, delicate mint, sweet spice, immensely complex and fresh nose. Complex palate, finely meshed, pronounced fruit, opens up wonderfully on the palate, full of finesse underlaid with fine tannins. Deep savouriness and length, salty-mineral finish, great youthful condition.
More about the tastingStrong ruby garnet, broad ochre rim. A déjà-vu with 86, again kitchen vegetables, delicately malty, black berries underneath, dark minerality, damp undergrowth. Juicy, nuances of black olives, fresh acidity, full-bodied tannins, delicate bitter chocolate, salty on the finish, lacks some length and charm, now seems very closed. (Drink/store +20)
