Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet, delicate water edge. Fine dark berry confit, ripe cherries, pleasant herbal savouriness, some nougat. Powerful, vivid tannins that are somewhat demanding, savoury, freshly structured, delicate leafy-tobacco, salty in the finish. Considered a classic vintage, once again could not really convince.
More about the tastingDark ruby garnet, delicate watery rim. Smoky and spicy with dark berry fruit, rather restrained, fine tobacco nuances. Juicy, shows good complexity on the palate, dark minerality, powerful, fine herbal spice, subtly drying tannins, relatively little fruit on the finish, vegetal aftertaste. (Drink/store +15)
